This was a 'very good' appointment. They were expecting me, I signed a couple of authorizations & was invited into an exam room which also was a great experience. the young lady was not only knowledgeable & well experienced, but she was caring & understanding & kind. Dr Burkley was was also kind & understanding & good at his work. My appt was estimated to be 2 hrs but really was 1&1/2 hrs. I was a very happy client. Thanx to all involved.

When I set the appointment originally, I had mentioned that I was interested in getting evaluated for ICL. I was scheduled into the Naples office, but when I went through the eye exam, they sent me on my way. I asked about the ICL measurements and they said that was only done at Fort Myers. When I tried to set that up, they apparently did not know that the FM office only does measurements on certain times and days of the week. I had to essentially reschedule back another week (so 2 weeks from the eye exam), and take additional time off work. If I had known that only Fort Myers could do the ICL evaluation, I would have talked to them directly. This was a frustrating day, but at least the eye exam component was done, so that saves me a little time for the ICL evaluation.That all being said, the eye exam I did receive was quick and efficient and professional. I was well treated and did not have to wait long to be seen.
