I had both upper and lower eyelid correction surgery. While there was quite a bit of discomfort during the 6 days following this surgery, and quite a bit of swelling and visible bruising, I had been warned by others to expect this. Now, 10 days after the surgery, most all of the outward signs are gone, and most all of the discomfort is gone. Only some dry eye symptoms remain and are satisfactorily treated by the artificial tears drops.Dr. Bokman and all the staff at Frantz were very helpful and caring. Dr. Bokman is very friendly and open, explaining well what will be done and what to expect. My advice to anyone considering this same surgery is this: 1) do not undertake this lightly, because it is likely you'll be miserable for 5 days or more, and your daily routines (including sleeping!) will be heavily impacted; 2) follow to the letter the advised pre- and post-op instructions - they are meant to help minimize problems/discomfort, to promote recovery, and to avoid complications.

First time patient due to an eye accident. They got me in the next morning. Had a full eye exam with an ophthalmologist and very impressed with whole team I was exposed to. Not trying to sell me anything, concern with my eye health. Will be my eye doctors office going forward!
