Dr. Jonathan Frantz Invites Local Residents To Enter iLASIK Essay Contest
One lucky person will win a free iLASIK procedure
Local Cataract & LASIK Specialist Jonathan M. Frantz, MD, FACS, is inviting local residents who are at least 21 years of age to submit an essay between now and February 15, 2011, about why they would like to have LASIK surgery and how they think it will change their life. The essay that he and the doctors at Florida Eye Health deem most convincing will win a free LASIK surgery.
The official contest entry form and terms and conditions of the contest can be found on the Florida Eye Health website. In addition to submitting a 200-word or less essay and agreeing to the official contest rules, those entering the contest are required to have a complimentary LASIK screening to determine their candidacy for surgery and eligibility for the contest. Ideal candidates for LASIK are those between 21 and 45 years of age who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism and want to reduce their dependence on glasses or contact lenses. The winner of the free iLASIK procedure will be posted after March 15 on the Florida Eye Health website and Facebook page.
LASIK is a procedure that improves vision by permanently changing the shape of the cornea (the clear covering of the front of the eye) with a laser. The 100% blade-free iLASIK procedure, offered exclusively in our area by Dr. Frantz, combines the most innovative technologies to bring you better vision, superior safety and ultra precision. “The iLASIK procedure includes the Advanced CustomVue laser vision correction procedure with the IntraLase FS (femtosecond) laser, and WaveScan three-dimensional mapping, which offers precise measurement and state-of-the art technologies that differentiate the iLASIK procedure from all others,” explained Dr. Frantz. “There is just nothing better on the horizon than iLASIK. In fact, all branches of the U.S. Military and NASA have approved LASIK for their servicemen and women, thanks to studies using iLASIK technology,” he added.
