After having had cataract surgery at different but very reputable Fort Myers clinic 2 years ago I was left with a problem in my left eye. After 3 follow on attempts by the same doctor to correct the problem nothing changed and I still had the problem. Rather than continuing down the same path I made an appointment with Frantz EyeCare in Fort Myers.My appointment which I had today was with Dr. George Corrent and words cannot describe the satisfaction I gained with my good fortune in being able to see Dr. Corrent.After reviewing all of the pre-exam tests and scans Dr. Corrent performed a very thorough scope exam. During this thorough exam Dr. Corrent was noting his observations to his assistant. I knew that I was listening to a very experienced and knowledgeable professional.After the exam Dr. Corrent explained issues regarding the problem with my eye. I learned that the 3 corrective procedures that were performed at the previous eye center could not possibly have corrected the problem. I learned that my eye problem CAN be corrected by a complicated surgical procedure but this procedure could possibly leave me far worse off. Dr. Corrent also confirmed that my eye problem was created during the initial cataract surgery.Although I will probably be living with my eye problem for the rest of my life it is comforting to know what exactly is wrong and that I have seen the best Doctor in my attempts to get my problem correctedI will highly recommend Frantz EyeCare and especially Dr. Corrent to all my friends.
