When You Arrive At Suncoast Surgery Center
It is important that you review and follow any preoperative instructions that your doctor has given to you.
Transportation
For your safety and protection, you will not be allowed to drive a motor vehicle following your surgery; therefore, please arrange for someone to drive you to and from the Surgery Center. You may also wish to arrange for someone to stay with you following your surgery.
If You Must Cancel Surgery
If for any reason you cannot keep your scheduled appointment for surgery or you experience any changes in your health, such as a cold or fever, please contact the Surgery Center immediately. This will assist us with our daily scheduling of procedures.
The Day of Surgery
Bring your insurance card(s) and any forms that your doctor requests that you bring with you.
If you do not speak English, you should arrange for an interpreter to accompany you throughout your visit to the Surgery Center.
Leave all your valuables, including jewelry and watches, at home.
Do not wear contact lenses, hearing aids or make-up.
