Dr. Frantz is highly respected in his field. He was one of the original investigators of the Excimer Laser and performed the first Excimer laser procedure for nearsightedness,
astigmatism and farsightedness in the state of Florida. He was selected as one of the top VISX Star refractive surgeons in the country, and received the National Research Service Award from the National Eye
Institute for Excimer Laser research.
Laser Vision Correction is our business - our only business
- at The Center for Laser Vision Correction. Dr. Frantz has made a substantial financial commitment by purchasing on-site lasers in both our Fort Myers and Naples locations to provide our patients with the highest quality results and care. Some centers, who perform fewer procedures than we do, have not made this commitment and use lasers that are trucked from site to site around the state. Our lasers are fixed lasers and remain at our center, ensuring our patients that the laser consistently operates at peak performance to correct their vision. In addition, having on-site lasers allows us to schedule your procedure at your convenience.
