Some eye disorders such as glaucoma begin without any symptoms at all; and sometimes even minor symptoms such as blurry or cloudy vision, dry eyes or eye
discoloration can signal a physical illness not related to the eye, such as diabetes or high blood pressure. It is important to keep your routine eye exam appointments and to
maintain your overall health. A thorough eye exam requires evaluation of the "back of the eye" which will require us to dilate your eyes. The necessary drops may cause
temporary blurred vision or light-sensitivity; therefore, we ask that you bring a friend or family member to drive you home. We recommend you bring sunglasses to wear home after your
appointment. |
